VVS Laxman has been declared the Man of the Match for his marvellous double ton in the first innings and following it up with a half-century in the second.  

Whereas, it's a disappointing day in the history of Indian cricket as the phenomenal Anil Kumble is bidding farewell to his international career. What a career it has been for the leg-spinner. With the tally of 619 wickets in 131 Test matches, 'Jumbo'has been a legend in world cricket. He has been a great servant for his nation as well as the game of cricket. He is the highest Test wicket-taker for India while he is third in the all time list. The 38-year old has done it all from taking ten wickets in an innings to winning matches for India single-handedly. Great respect and salute to Anil Kumble from all the cricket fans.  

Meanwhile the hosts spilled the chance to seal the series after piling over 600 runs in the first innings. Dreadful fielding on day 3 and 4 didn't help their cause. Dravid's form in this series is still a worry. So the home team will be disappointed after the shift of some momentum in the Aussie side.  

The Australians will be very happy at the end of this Test match. They showed plenty of fight and resistence throughout the five days. All the tourist's top-order batsmen spent valuable time in the middle with runs to their name. Even Brett Lee and Stuart Clark were seen in their full rhythm at Delhi. So the 'Baggy Green' team will carry the momentum from this Test to the final one at Nagpur.  

Overall, it was a great Test match as we witnessed scintillating contest between the bat and ball. Records, personal milestones, controversies and a legendary cricketer taking retirement, we saw it all in the Kotla Test.  

And that's the end of the drawn Delhi Test match. It's a stalemate after five days of intense cricket. Australia batted for eight overs to score 31 runs without the loss of any wicket. And Anil Kumble, the man of the hour gets a standing ovation from everybody present at the Kotla stadium. It's his last Test match as he announced his retirement. His team-mates, the Australians are saluting this great legend. Dhoni who will be the replacement for Kumble as the next Indian Test skipper carries the phenomenal cricketer on his shoulders. Dhoni is probably signalling that he is ready to take over as the captain of the team. Now 'Jumbo' taking a lap of the stadium with his team-mates and a whole bunch of people surrounding him.

Breaking News....Anil Kumble has decided to retire after this Test match. He won't be playing in the final Nagpur Test. Not a surprise decision by the Indian skipper looking at his performance and injury niggles.

The Delhi Test continues to edge towards a draw as the hosts are placed at 193-5 with an overall lead of 229 runs at Tea. Laxman made batting look easy as he is unbeaten on 55, having scored yet another fifty against the mighty Aussies. Tendulkar was unfortunate to be dismissed by Cameron White on 47 runs. It's Lunch on the final day. India are going cautiously at 99-4 with an overall lead of 135 runs. The Delhi Test continues to progress towards a stalemate as only a couple of wickets fell in the morning session. Dravid (11) disappointed after Lee rattled his stumps. A fantastic day for Australia as they were successful in chipping with two wickets in the 13 overs bowled at the Indians. The hosts are placed at 43-2 with an overall lead of 79 runs at the end of day 4. But the stars of the penultuimate day were Michael Clarke who scored a gritty hundred and for India, it was Sehwag who became the first man in the history of Test cricket to hit two triple centuries and pick a five wicket haul. Another impressive session for the Australians as they are marching along well at 539-7. Michael Clarke (101*) scored a magnificent ton and shared a fantastic 106-run stand with Cameron White (44) in the second session. The only cheerful fact for India was that of Sehwag picking up his maiden 5-wicket haul in Test cricket. He also became the first player to score two triple hundreds and pick up a 5-wicket haul in Test cricket. Dreadful fielding though by the Indians as Clarke was dropped on as many as on three occasions. The visitors now trail by just 74 runs. Join us back shortly.

A relatively good session for the Australians as they are placed at 436-6 at Lunch on day 4. Runs were leaking in the first hour of the morning as Michael Clarke (57*) and Watson (36) shared a 73-run stand. Kumble celebrated his first wicket of the series when he picked Haddin for 17 runs. Good Morning and a Big Hi! to all of you for the commentary of day 4 of the Delhi Test. Yesterday, it was excellent day of cricket as there was an interesting contest between bat and ball. Resolute and great batting technique from the Aussie top-order meant the visitors inched towards the massive Indian total. But the question today is will the hosts pick quick victims and force a result or the tourists continue to frustrate the home team. Stay tuned for the all action.  

It's Stumps on day 3. Australia have done well to be placed at 338-4 and they trail India by 275 runs. It was a very good day for the visitors as they scored 288 runs in the three sessions.
